BIOGRAPHY

Rachael is a part time artisan living near Dayboro in the south east Queensland hinterland. Rachael has spent her life working and living across Australia working as marine scientist and conservation manager from NSW to QLD and the rugged Pilbara of Western Australia while simultaneously pursuing her creative interests combining her drawing and painting skills with leather work. Rachael has now been painting for 15 years and has adapted her art to leather working since 2015. Rachael enjoys capturing iconic Australian stories, moments and landscapes, whilst evoking imagination and emotion. Her background as an artist allows her to fluidly work freehand with leather, tooling unique images which are hard to find in the world of leather craft.

Rachael can produce paintings and leather craft pieces on request and to date has completed over 250 custom ordered leather products since August 2015, to customers across the globe from Europe to the USA, and of course Australia.
